You are correct about the distance, you lose at least 50% of your distance when you hit your driver and the percentage decreases the lower loft club you hit. I've read the max the ball has been hit is 200 yards. Ideally off the tee you hit this ball with a 3 wood. It's definitely an interesting ball/concept, the ball flight is crazy to watch too. They're supposed to be coming out with the Caesar Millie for the lower handicap golfers...
