Found a great book for all golfers that will help with flexability, stance, rotation, core strength, shoulder turn, hip turn and weight shift called The Golfers Guide to Pilates. Been recovering from a broken neck and resulting surgery to fuse C-5-6-7 vertebraes together along with 7 other vertebraes dammaged in a Motocross Racing accident last April 09, I am 51 years old and this book has drasticly reduced my recovery time and increased my flexability beyond what it was prior to the crash. I had been racing motocross at an International level for the last 10 years, and won 3 state championshps prior to that. I was in great shape at the time of the crash which probably saved my life. After the crash I was on my back for 13 weeks with a collar on my neck, never thought I'd loose as much strength as I did. With my physical therapy work out along with my Pilates work out I started working on my short game at the end of July and was able to start playing golf in August. Picked up a new swing from Don Trahan at Peak Performance Golf and have played as many as 27 holes in an afternoon without any back or neck pain at all. Also shot a 78 in November the first time I have ever broke 80 in my life. Been doing my physical therapy workouts daily along with my pilates workouts and can't wait to play in Northern California in a week. Our local courses are closed due to snow here in Northern Nevada. As we get older we have to concentrate on flexability and core strength. Stay active guys and gals, don't sit and become a couch potato during the winter. 2010 is going to be a great golf year. Here is to blue skys, great friends, hit it straight and long and sink those long puts. Have a great New Year.....George

There are two deadlines on the PGA TOUR for the top-10 players in the FedExCup standings. Players within the top 10 on March 12 will qualify, and then again on March 19. If the standings for qualification expired today, the field would be 74 players from 19 different countries. For complete current standings, see the final page of this release.
