Cleveland HiBORE XLS
Amid all the rumors of Cleveland Golf being sold, they continue to chug along and put out some great looking products. Looks as though Cleveland Golf will be releasing 3 new products in the HiBORE line this winter.
- Cleveland HiBORE XLS Driver
- Cleveland HiBORE XLS Fairway Woods
- Cleveland HiBORE XLS Hybrids
This week at the Frys.com open Cleveland reps were showing off their goods, and some players have already put some of these clubs in play. Apparently the Fairway Woods are a huge hit, and the Driver is said to have a higher MOI and faster ball speeds on off center hits.

I’ve seen all 3 of these products. The Cleveland rep said that there are only 30 pieces of these made. I saw the driver which has a square look to it. It is finished with a gloss black crown. The 3 wood is the best 3 wood I have ever hit! He also had a tour model which said 15 T and no paint fill on the sole and a matte black top finish. The hybrid has no offset to it and is considerably heavy, looks very nice.
I absolutly luv Deep Rough but you guys seriously need to do a review for the Hibore XLS, Im dying to know how good it is.
Gertrude, don’t worry, we’ve got one in house, and are in the process of reviewing it! Should have a review in the next couple weeks!
My initial impression is: more forgiving than XL, though a little shorter on dead center hits…for my swing at least.
