Going from 180 to 270 is so much bull. these posts always exaggerate believability

Hi, I was wondering if you can use this club on the actual course, or if its just for training. Help would be appreciated

Forgot the putter - Ping A-1 bought new when it was the putter Ping made and still rings loud and clear. Now have Ping's new half head long putter on order that is supposed to be released on 11/1/07.

Why haven't I changed putters in all these years? Well, when I first bought it I was a scratch golfer even traveling courses frequently and as I aged, played less and my handicap increased, I didn't blame the putter.

Forgot to say, the R7 quad is the 460 (10.5) and the R7 Draw is a 460 (10.5) and all of the tM clubs I bought have the stock Reax graphite shaft and I bought the regular flex in all clubs. All my irons are the Ping featherlite steel in stiff. Pings are a custom factory set in 1-9, W(PW)wedge, L wedge and S wedge.

180 yards -> 270 yards is pretty impressive. Especially for someone of your age and health! What irons are you playing with now? What iron do you use for a 175 yard shot? Why the desire to move to forged blades?

I recently purchased the Power Hitter 275, but really haven't had a chance to give it much of a try. I purchased it as I just got back into golf after about a 5 year layoff (injuries & health problems) and found I needed some help with my distance.

My distance improved 50% when I replaced my 15 year old Taylor Made Burner Bubble driver with a new R7 Draw; I honestly went from about 180 yards to 270 yards simply by changing clubs (the very first time I hit it I was on the fringe of the green on a 303 yard short par 4 and dead straight). Anyway, I then immediately bought the R7 Titanium 3, 5 and 7 and they are equally impressive; long, very high and very soft landing with a pro-class ball. And yes, I had to try the R7 quad (and a pro weight kit); thus far, its not much different than the R7 Draw and needs more tuning. As of now the quad looks like I might get another 10 yards or so out of it over the R7 Draw.

I got the R7 Draw and the R7 Titanium fairway woods (these are not the Rescue clubs) on Ebay at about $160 each, the R7 Quad for $290 and the TM weight kit for $80. All are genuine TM.

Here's how impressed I am with these clubs - I pulled out all my old metal woods and my 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5, irons and now carry only the 6, 7, 8, 9 irons and 3 wedges and a putter with the new R7s. My greens in regulation is now about doubled and have not hit a single poor shot with any of the R7s, NONE!

Now if the power hitter can improve my swing speed, this 59 year old with a numb left should and sensitive back(from the a SUV rollover) may be able to play head to head with the young guys.

I'm looking to replace my Ping irons with some new forged blades this Xmas.

The Momentus is one of several brands that work equally good. I think one of the best training aids out there is the Refiner Hinge Club. Instant feedback! I use this club a lot and it even helps with my tempo.
