The folks down in New Zealand were kind enough to ship a Puku FIO Putter to The Deep Rough for review. I just got this putter in my hands the other day, and it’s quite an interesting piece of equipment. If you haven’t heard of the Puku putter, it is the first putter that offers user adjustable putter length. That is to say, you can use the little Puku adjustment tool (before your round of course) and make adjustments to the length of the putter shaft. Don’t like 36″, slide it down to 34″ or 33″. Heck, you can ditch normal putting all together, and slap on the belly putter attachment. Then you can slide the putter handle around to find the perfect match for your belly…however large or small that may be!

I should have a detailed review of this putter up in the next few weeks, but I just wanted to share a few pictures and some information about this neat looking putter with all of you. In the mean time, check out their site (PukuGolf) for more details.

I love the look of it…from the website it appears some pretty good thinking/tech went into its design. My putter isn’t old (if it were a tree) but I love the weight of it. Everything else I’ve tried seems too heavy or too light. Looking forward to your analysis of it.
The putter weighs in at 420g, which is a little heavier than the average putter these days (Taylor Made Monza Corza weighing in at 345g). But, the putter feels very well balanced. In the belly putter configuration, the 420g feels very nice.
