New TaylorMade r7 CGB Max Driver

GolfWRX has posted up some pictures of the new r7 CGB driver intended for higher handicap players. From what I understand it should be pretty high launch/high spin with a very high MOI. So, it should be easy to keep in the fairway, perhaps not the long bomber the Burner is. The top of the clubhead is a red color that apparently TaylorMade has named ‘Sunday Red’. They apparently have also applied for a trademark for this color name…hmm…I would think Tiger may object.

Looks like they have stuck with the MWT technology in this particular club, placing 3 movable/replaceable weights in the back/bottom of the club head. They also seem to continue to push the envelope of ‘cool new space-age looking technology on the bottom of my club’. Seriously, TM sure does a good job of making the bottom of their clubs look high tech!
