2007 PGA Championship Fantasy Golf Day 2

Day 2 has passed us by and time to check in on my Fantasy Golf lineup again:

Group A

Starting: Tiger Woods (-7)
Bench: KJ Choi (+1)

So yeah, not that I was ever considering sitting Tiger…amazing performance. Got me the 20 points for low round of the day, and he looks to be well on his way to dominating another major. I just hope he can put in another decent round today. The only concern I have from a ‘Fantasy Golf’ perspective is whether he’ll have an ‘average’ day Saturday or Sunday. KJ could have been an option today…but I think I’ll just stick with Tiger.

Group B

Starting: Justin Rose (+3)
Starting: Angel Cabrera (E) – nice bounce back
Bench: Aaron Baddeley (+4)
Bench: Sean O’Hair (+2)

Ok, so I played Baddeley, and sat O’Hair. Ooops. Baddeley ended up missing the cut. So, Sean O’Hair is in there now. As it turns out, I should have played Cabrera on Friday, but who knew. So given that Badds and Cabrera missed the cut, my lineup for the weekend is easy. Hopefully one of these guys can move into the top 10.

Group C

Starting: Hunter Mahan (+3)
Bench: Henrik Stenson (+4)

I’ve been putting Stenson in my lineup pretty often since his wins at the World Match Play and at Dubai. Unfortunately he has failed to live up to the early season hype…at least on the PGA Tour. Perhaps I should have just stuck to starting him in desert rounds…? Anyway, Stenson missed the cut, Mahan made it…so no decisions to be made here.
