If you own a 10.5 degree Hibore XL, you may want to have it checked out. According to Cleveland golf, some of the 10.5 degree versions of the head have failed conformance testing by the USGA. Here is the skinny:
Cleveland Golf has determined that, due to a variance in our manufacturing process, a limited number of HiBORE XL 10.5 degree drivers may not conform to the Characteristic Time test standard established by the USGA. It is only the right-handed HiBORE XL 10.5 degree model that is in question. All other right handed lofts (7.5, 8.5, 9.5, 11.5, 16) and all left-handed HiBORE XL drivers, as well as all other models, including the HiBORE, HiBORE XL Tour and W-Series HiBORE XL (For women), have been tested and are determined to conform to USGA standards.
