I realize that giving credentials to anyone and everyone who opens a blog for free on Wordpress or Blogger isn't logical, but to say that all blogs are not considered is crazy. Ironically, I think mainstream media can hurt the LPGA much more than we can, and the likelihood of good publicity is greater on the blog side. If I received media credentials for ZealousGolfer.com, I would probably think, "Gee, that's nice, I'm not going to rip on their poor business practices leading to an underdeveloped product." On the other hand, I'm sure ABC, CBS, or any other major part of mainstream media would take access as a favor. I've read about almost every decision Carolyn Bivins has made and they've all made me and millions of others say, " Huh ? " I'd give them all the coverage they deserve by trying to get all the other golf bloggers in the world to quit carrying any news of the LPGA.
