Morgan Pressel Wins First Major

Congrats to Morgan Pressel, youngest woman to win a Major on the LPGA tour!

I still distinctly remember the time I very briefly ‘met’ Morgan Pressel last year at the HSBC Women’s World Match Play. She had just lost to Paula Creamer and was crying, obviously upset with her performance walking off the green. Still in tears she was still kind enough to sign some autographs and say hello to some of her fans.

It’s great to see her get her first LPGA win at a Major no less. This boost of confidence is just what Morgan needed, I believe. This could be a big stepping stone for her. Suzann Pettersen’s play down the stretch, on the other hand, was quite unfortunate. Nonetheless, I’m sure she’ll bounce back.
