Ok, so it was 80 degrees here yesterday in the Garden State, and approaching 70 today, but I’m sure we’ll be back into the 50’s soon enough, experiencing that inevitable March/April last bite of winter hoorah. So this just got me thinking of all of the indoor golf facilities available to the obsessed golfer.

If all else fails there is always Tiger Woods 07 on the Wii, The Floppy, a trip to your local GolfSmith Golf Simulator or you could give the Q-Motions Golf Simulator a shot. I have one sitting in the basement if you’re interested. Just whatever you do, don’t pull an Andrew and put a hole in your wall…
What do you guys think? Did you take advantage of any simulators this off-season?

I’ve tried them a few times - usually in December or January when I’m starting to go through the winter withdrawal. It’s ok as a way to keep your swing in shape, but no one should ever confuse these things with golf. The other thing is, they tend to be expensive for what you get. I’ve paid over $40 for an hour. 15 minutes demoing clubs at GolfGalaxy is a lot more fun and the price is right.
