So, as I mentioned earlier, I thought I should root for Gary Ostrega since he’s from Westfield, but damn, what a cry baby. In case you have not seen last week’s episode, I’ll try to bring you up to speed. Gary and Mark faced off in an elimination challenge. Gary already played his terrible shots, and as he was already going down in flames, he decided to be an ass and swing his club in the grass repeatedly as Mark was hitting his. Way to show some class there Gary. I’m sure you’ll take some money from him on the course next time, right?
As annoying as Gary’s little antics were, Cindy’s constant pessimism and complete lack of a competitive spirit made me sick. If you are reading this Cindy, I am sorry, but come on…how do you expect to win anything on a show like The Big Break with a can’t win attitude? The strange thing was she would come up with these snide little comments about the other players. Much like Gary, at times it seemed as if she thought she was in another league. Alas, justice would be served. Sweet schadenfreude, I nearly peed my pants laughing as I watched Cindy dig herself deeper and deeper into the sand trap…what was it, 14 shots?
Yeah, under the same pressure, trying to make that shot, it probably would have taken me 100 tries, but damn, it sure put a smile on my face! Just keep your mouth shut and hit some decent shots next time Cindy.
It’s sad that the show has me rooting for people to be booted off now. The most recent episode had me cheering for Pam’s departure…alas, I will have to wait at least another week to witness her demise.

Yeah, I was laughing at Cindy in the sand trap too. That happens to me… a lot… and I took a perverse pleasure in seeing it happen to someone else. Who’s a much better golfer.
