erm...i dont know who wrote this article...but callaway didnt 'jump on the bandwagon'...the reason for the heavy price and later release date to nike is because callaway have put years and years of research into this driver. and nike had their drivers recalled...hmm...good research by the nike boys who by the way do NOT make tiger's ball or clubs despite advertising campaigns making you believe so...they are frankly a shocking club manufacturer...the ft-i is the one if u want a square driver.

Oops, pressed the wrong combination of buttons and accidentally posted.

It does have a classy look to it though.

2) Feel. Despite its sheer size it is very light, thanks to its multi-material construction. Very easy to swing.

3) Sound. Compared to the name Ping, this driver sound is more similar to the Hiroshima Nuclear Bomb. This driver is VERY VERY LOUD, almost painfull to listen to after swinging it for 10 minutes.

4) Performance. Well, I guess it performs like a sqaure driver, can't really compare it to the conventional drivers we're all using now. It has a very solid response when making contact with the ball, absorbs impact vibrations. It cured my brothers skidder ball, draw and yipps. For me personally, how the club feels at impact is what makes or breaks the club and this driver does its job too well, I can't feel a thing. I lose track of my swing, something a little getting used to will fix.

Despite its "Square" shape, it does a good job at keeping the tradition in golf by its very formal appreance.

Well, Seeing as how I got to swing and hit with this club at my practice facilities NIKE and Callaway demo day, I might as well write something about it.

1) First appearance. Seriously when you first walk up to it and get a closer look at it in your hands, IT LOOKS LIKE A DRESS SHOE ON THE END OF A CANE.
