Golfing in Extreme Heat

Now we’re getting another big heat wave here in the North East, heat index topping 110 today…yuck. Obviously, if you’re crazy enough to go out in weather like this it is important to be hydrated and to keep yourself hydrated.

has a nice post regarding this topic, with some great tips on playing in the heat: .

Now time to drink plenty of water, so I can goto the driving range late this afternoon and see how far balls will fly in this kind of heat! :)

  2. It can be pretty brutal. This weekend was nice though, had a 6:30am tee time saturday morning, was in the mid 70’s. However, the humidity rose considerably before my Sunday tee time :(

I have to make the trek down to New Zealand some day soon, I hear the courses down there are beautiful!
